The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installation, and servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets.
Ensure safety and QA procedures are followed for all work being carried
Ensure QA card has all the relevant fields completed and signed off for all work that he/she carries out
Ensure safety and quality of products and report any problem through the correct chain of command
Report status and progress to Technical Manager/Managing Director
Compile product drawings, procedures, reports, and calculations as required
Safeguard product workflow and make certain that downtime and unanticipated problems are minimized and all personnel within his/her control are working efficiently
Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test associated equipment
Fault-find and resolve problems within his/her areas of competence
Deal with clients, suppliers, and other departments/companies
Ensure all outgoing jobs are completed at a high standard
Work and collaborate with other service engineers to ensure that deliverables are met
Ensure that projects are completed within agreed schedule and budget
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
